WHISKY SOUR

A classic drink, friends.  Swap out the bourbon for brandy and you’ve got a brandy sour.  This drink works well straight up as well as on the rocks. 

Ingredients

3 oz bourbon or whisky

2 oz freshly squeezed lemon juice

1 oz simple syrup

1 orange slice (optional)

1 maraschino cherry

METHOD

  1. 1.Pour first three ingredients into cocktail shaker.

  2. 2.Add ice and shake for 20 to 30 seconds.

  3. 3.Strain into chilled martini glasses or into ice filled old-fashioneds.

  4. 4.Garnish with cherries and orange slices, if using.

yields 2 drinks
