Consider this the second in the continuing First Lady Cocktail Series (see the Barbara Bush). The bourbon and orange pair nicely. This is a great choice for that pre-Thanksgiving tipple. Fresh orange juice is very much preferred over any other, including fresh-squeezed that you can get in the store. It is much less acidic and the texture is less viscous.

1. Pour all ingredients into cocktail shaker.

2. Fill with ice cubes.

3. Shake for 20 seconds.

4. Strain into chilled martini glasses.

5. Garnish with twists, if using.
