“HOMEMADE” GIN

If you aren’t in the habit of buying high quality  gins like Bombay or Tanqueray or Plymouth, here’s a tip that can help more modestly priced gins. It’ll turn your grandpa’s bath tub hooch into something very much palatable.  Filtering the gin removes impurities and mellows the harshness of less expensive gins and the flavorings add depth and dimension, usually found only in pricier gins.

pinch dried lavender

pinch fennel seeds
